Fox Sports reported Wednesday that President Donald Trump is set to sign the second round of stimulus legislation.
The president is set on signing the $787 billion package Wednesday, according to The Associated Press, but the president has not yet made the announcement.
It will fund the $1 trillion economic stimulus package approved by Congress in January.
Trump’s economic agenda is set for a massive legislative push in the weeks ahead, as lawmakers begin to negotiate the $20 trillion package that will help the U.S. recover from the global economic recession and boost the economy by boosting demand and job creation.
More than $6 trillion in stimulus funds have been earmarked for various programs that will bolster the economy, including the unemployment insurance program, job training and childcare programs.
The money is set aside to help individuals, businesses and communities to hire and train people and create new jobs.
