FedEx lost a package containing an extra $1.6 million worth of groceries last week, according to the U.S. Postal Service.
The package was found last Friday in the San Diego suburb of El Cajon.
FedEx said in a statement on Monday that it had been unable to locate the parcel since it was delivered to its El Caja facility in Los Angeles on Oct. 6.
FedEX is offering $100 to anyone who can identify the package.
The loss comes after FedEx was caught in a high-profile food fight last year with the California-based restaurant chain Panera Bread.
Fedex lost a $600 million contract to the restaurant chain after a legal dispute, which the company said was resolved.
Fedepress said it would reimburse Panera for the loss.
