Many Chinese people are opting for a new way of getting their lashes done: by cutting them in less than a minute, according to new lash packaging that has caught the eye of consumers.
(AP Photo/Hua Chunying, File) A Chinese cosmetics company has launched a new line of lash packaging, called Lash Pack, which offers customers the choice of two types of lashes: quick and long.
The product’s creators say the shorter lashes make for an easier cut.
But it also has a twist: It contains a little bit of a “lip balm” for extra nourishment.
The two-pack of three tubes, each measuring about 2 inches in length, costs $8.50 and is available in limited quantities through a number of online stores.
The packaging is made of glass and includes instructions for use, along with a video tutorial on how to get the product onto the lashes.
The company’s brand, Lash Pack Cosmetics, says it uses a unique formula that produces a longer and more durable product.
A spokeswoman for the company, Ma Guoqing, said it was launched after several customers told her that they wanted to get a product to give them longer lashes, but it took some time to perfect the process.
“They thought it would be a good product to have to get their lashes in less, and then they liked it,” she said.
“They asked us to make a product that would make them really happy.”
